Matt and Juli have been good friends of mine for years. I photographed their engagement and cried at their wedding. Every detail was so thoughtful and sweet, and their vows to each other were some of the best I've heard - they should be framed on their wall. Since getting married, they've been working their tails off on a major addition and remodel to their home. So when Juli contacted me for their maternity session, inspiration hit immediately and we agreed we should start the session in-home. I LOVE shooting in-home maternity and hope these photographs convey the beauty to be had. She was literally glowing as we walked through the house, and I geeked out just a tad as I saw how her beautiful lace kimono caught the light and framed her perfect bump. We brought Dad and big brother Tiger into the mix for some extra loves before we headed out for that perfect golden hour light. We were met with a brilliant sunset, wildflowers, and a sense of peace, calm and happiness. Congratulations you two (three), I can't wait to see you thrive in this next chapter of parenthood.
